The job
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Engineer to support the sales and business development of advanced electrical power system analysis software, including ETAP/SEE/CANECO.
The ideal candidate combines a strong technical background in electrical power systems with excellent communication and customer-facing skills. This role involves supporting customers throughout the sales process, understanding their technical requirements, delivering software demonstrations, and helping them identify the best solutions for their engineering challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand ETAP’s footprint in the CEE region
- Understand customer requirements and identify appropriate technical solutions.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals relating to solution concepts.
- Deliver professional presentations of ETAP solutions for customers and prospects
- Explain the technical and business benefits of the proposed solutions.
- Participate in customer meetings, workshops, webinars, conferences, and industry events.
- Assist customers during software evaluation and selection processes.
- Support the development of new markets and customer segments.
Essential requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering,Power Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems and power system analysis.
- Experience with ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or similar engineering software is highly desirable.
- Understanding of electrical network modelling and simulation.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
- Customer-oriented and proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an international team.
- Very good command of English.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
