Position Summary

The Desktop Support Specialist works as part of the IT Desktop Support team to provide customer-focused technical support to F5 employees. In this role, you will be responsible forthe setup, deployment, and troubleshooting of Windows 11, macOS, and mobile devices, as well as printers, conferencing gear, WIFI, LANand tools like Zoom. You will work with asset management systems using ServiceNow and gain hands-on experience with Azure for managing user and computer accounts. This role is an excellent opportunity to build and expand your IT technical skills, contribute to a positivecustomer experience, and grow within a supportive and collaborative IT organization.

This position is based in San Jose.

Key Responsibilities

• Assistwith setting up and deploying Windows devices using Intune and macOS devices using JAMF

• Install and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android), productivity software, O365, SharePoint, mobile devices, and collaboration tools such as Zoom

• Track IT assets and use ServiceNow for ticket management and asset tracking

• Manage user and device accounts in Azure under guidance from senior team members

• Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality support to end users, both remotely and in person

• Respond to HelpDeskrequests, document actions taken, and escalate issues to senior IT staff as appropriate

• Participate in deploying new hardware and software and assistwith onboarding new users

• Contribute to maintaininga positive and professional customer experience

• Create and modifyKB articles and learn how we leverageKCS methodologies

• Uphold F5's Business Code of Ethics and Company policies

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the IT team and professional development

• Interest in computers, networks, technology, and customer service

• Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and learn from feedback

• Basic to intermediate understanding of computer hardware and software

• Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively
