JUNIOR IT EXECUTIVE

Fairway Colombo, a Smart Luxury City Hotel located in the heart of Colombo, is one of the city's technology-driven hotels, featuring innovative solutions including robotic services and modern hospitality technologies.

We are looking for a motivated, responsible, and technically competent Junior IT Executive to join our IT team and support the smooth operation of hotel IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

e@ Provide IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system related issues.

@ Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, software and other IT equipment.

@ Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, network connectivity and IT infrastructure.

@ Support and troubleshoot hotel IT systems, including IPTV, PABX, CCTV, Electronic Door Lock Systems and other hospitality technologies.

Manage user accounts, email configurations, access permissions and password related issues.

Assist with server maintenance, firewalls, system backups, Windows updates, antivirus protection and
IT security procedures.

@ Maintain proper IT asset records, technical documentation and equipment inventories.

Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.

@ Respond promptly to IT support requests to ensure uninterrupted hotel operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Currently following or have completed a Degree/HND in Information Technology, ICT, Computer
Science, Networking, or a related field.

@ 1-2 years of hands-on experience in IT support.

@ Good knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, computer hardware, software, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and

networking.

Basic knowledge of firewalls, servers, network equipment, and IT security.

Familiarity with IPTV, PABX, CCTV, Electronic Door Lock Systems and hotel IT applications will be an

advantage.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication, teamwork and time management skills.

Positive attitude, sense of responsibility and willingness to learn new technologies.

Ability and willingness to work on a roster basis, including day and night shifts.

Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry will be an added

advantage.
