About the Role
As a Renewal Manager, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, high-achieving sales professionals responsible for renewing and expanding partnerships with FIS Decision Solutions clients across North America. You will work closely with Account Managers and Client Success Managers to drive long-term client retention and growth.
This role focuses on renewing Decision Solutions contracts, strengthening strategic relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand FIS’ footprint within client portfolios. By delivering industry-leading solutions and insight, you’ll help clients enhance and innovate their new account opening operations.
What You Will Be Doing
Work with existing FIS Decision Solutions clients to retain and grow business relationships
Identify contracts approaching expiration and proactively initiate renewal and retention discussions
Develop a deep understanding of each client’s Decision Solutions offerings and service model
Prepare and present strategic account overviews, highlighting current FIS solutions and opportunities for expansion
Create, present, and negotiate pricing proposals aligned to client value and long-term growth
Lead the negotiation and execution of renewal contracts and updated agreements
Identify and position next-best solutions to meet client’s new account opening needs
What You Bring:
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
Experience negotiating contracts in the financial services industry
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders (e.g., Head of Wealth, CIO, COO, Product Leaders)
Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Ability to translate client needs into strategic renewal and expansion opportunities
Required Qualifications:
• Demonstrated success in renewals, retention, inside sales, account management, or client relationship management.
• Strong negotiation, influence, and consultative selling skills.
• Experience managing recurring revenue or subscription-based customer relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of FIS Decision Solutions products
Experience with sales-related platforms and systems
Understanding of regulatory considerations impacting new account opening services (Fair Credit Reporting Act & Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act)
Experience with contract lifecycle management and complex client negotiations
