Walk-in Technician

We are now launching a new Walk-in Service in Södertälje and are looking for a Walk-in Technician to provide hands-on technical support to customers visiting the service.

What you'll be doing

As a Walk-in Technician, you will be the technical point of contact when customers bring devices to our Walk-in Service.

You will assess devices, troubleshoot problems, perform device swaps and determine the right next step. Some issues you will resolve directly, while others will need to be documented and routed to the appropriate repair or service team.

What you will do:

• Perform initial diagnostics on computers, phones and other devices.

• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.

• Assess device condition and determine the appropriate next step.

• Perform device SWAPs according to established processes.

• Triage repair cases and route them for further technical handling when needed.

• Check device eligibility, warranty status and required documentation.

• Prepare and configure devices and related equipment when required.

• Explain technical findings and next steps clearly to customers.

• Document technical findings and actions accurately in relevant systems.

• Escalate more complex cases and collaborate with repair and service teams.

Who we are looking for

You enjoy hands-on technical work but are equally comfortable interacting directly with customers. You can troubleshoot methodically, explain technical issues simply and remain service-minded when a customer arrives with an urgent problem.

We believe you have

• Previous experience with IT hardware, technical support, device repair, service desk or similar technical work.

• Good understanding of computers, mobile devices and common hardware/software issues.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical processes.

• A service-minded approach and confidence working directly with customers.

• Ability to prioritize and manage several cases in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

• Technical education and/or relevant certifications are considered a merit.

Experience within circularity or refurbishment is not required. What matters is your technical foundation, curiosity and willingness to learn.
