About The Role:

G2 is looking for a Salesforce Engineer based in Bangalore, India to serve as the primary technical partner embedded with our sales and revenue-facing business stakeholders, someone who can move fluidly from a conversation about pipeline OKRs to writing Apex code to shipping a solution in production.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Bangalore office for regular in-person collaboration.It is a high-autonomy, high-ownership role. You are the engineer, the analyst, the architect, and the delivery owner. You will operate across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue Accounting to understand what they need, design the right solution, build it, test it, deploy it, and iterate on it. In This Role, You Will Focus On:

• Partnering directly with Sales, Marketing, Partner, and Revenue Accounting stakeholders including collaborating across time zones with G2's US-based teams to understand goals, OKRs, and process friction, translating them into technical solutions without a PM or BSA intermediary

• Owning the full delivery lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing iteration

• Building and maintaining solutions across G2's revenue tech stack, including Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ), Gong, ZoomInfo, and Slack and evaluating new tools as the GTM ecosystem evolves

• Developing within Salesforce using both declarative configuration and custom code writing Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) for solutions that go beyond what clicks can deliver

• Designing and deploying AI-powered GTM workflows leveraging Claude Code, Dust, and native AI capabilities within the stack to automate and augment how Sales and Marketing teams operate, from lead routing to pipeline hygiene to revenue recognition support

• Maintaining the reliability, performance, and governance of the systems you own including documentation, change management, and proactive monitoring

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in a Salesforce-centric technical role, with demonstrated ownership of solution delivery end-to-end

• Salesforce development proficiency: Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs), Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and platform configuration (flows, validation rules, page layouts, permission sets)

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ including quote configuration, pricing rules, approval workflows, and order management

• Experience working directly with Sales and Marketing business stakeholders comfortable running discovery conversations, scoping solutions, and managing delivery expectations without a PM layer

• Familiarity with one or more tools in the revenue tech ecosystem: Gong, ZoomInfo, or comparable GTM platforms

• Demonstrated ability to operate without a PM or QA function you write your own test cases, own your own deployments, and catch your own bugs

• Comfort with AI-assisted development workflows and genuine curiosity about applying LLMs and AI agents to Sales and Marketing operations

• Strong written and verbal communication able to collaborate effectively across time zones with US-based stakeholders and explain technical decisions to non-technical business partners

• Must be based in Bangalore, India or within commutable distance to the Bangalore office

What Can Help Your Application Stand Out:

• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, named credentials)

• Exposure to AI workflow automation tools (Claude Code, Dust, n8n, or similar)

• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, CPQ Specialist, Administrator, Advanced Administrator)

• Prior experience supporting Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Marketing Operations in a B2B SaaS environment

• Experience working in a global team with cross-timezone collaboration, particularly with North America-based stakeholders
