DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze user needs and requirements, develop software specifications, and contribute to software development planning within the broader organizational and program context.
  • Design, implement, integrate, test, document, and maintain software applications and components.
  • Develop and execute software test plans, test procedures, and test cases in collaboration with stakeholders throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including issues associated with software and hardware integration.
  • Debug, modify, and enhance existing software to support evolving requirements, technologies, and operational environments.
  • Apply sound software engineering practices, including source control, code reviews, defect tracking, configuration management, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, hardware engineers, users, customers, and management to define requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to planning for future software applications and capabilities.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to software development teams, users, management, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Protect sensitive and proprietary information in accordance with company policies and applicable security requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
