Computer Vision Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Computer Vision Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring that our avatars can precisely capture and render human facial features photorealistically. You develop algorithms for facial recognition and 3D reconstruction and actively contribute your knowledge of modern methods such as NeRF, 3D Gaussian Splatting or parametric facial models to our CV pipeline. You work closely with our tech team across development, QA and ML engineering, helping shape how realistic digital communication can become.

Your tasks

• Development of algorithms for precise facial recognition and analysis
• Creation of 3D models from 2D images and videos
• Optimisation of face-tracking algorithms for real-time applications
• Integration of machine learning models into our CV pipeline

Your profile

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Vision
• Deep expertise in OpenCV and related libraries
• Strong C++ and Python skills
• Experience with 3D modelling and reconstruction; familiarity with modern methods (NeRF, 3D Gaussian Splatting, parametric facial models such as FLAME/3DMM) is an advantage
• Publications in the field of Computer Vision are a plus
• Fluent German skills
