Python Developer – AI & Data Pipelines (f/m/d)

As a Python Developer, you build AI-powered data processing pipelines that reliably scale the training and inference of our models. You develop Python services within our microservice architecture, work with Qdrant on vector search and hybrid retrieval for RAG applications, and build high-performance APIs with FastAPI. This puts you at the intersection of data engineering, ML infrastructure and backend development.

Your tasks

• Development of scalable data processing pipelines for training and inference of AI models
• Development of Python services that integrate seamlessly into our microservice architecture
• Working with Qdrant for vector search and development of RAG-based applications incl. hybrid retrieval
• Building high-performance APIs with FastAPI for our AI services and integrating ML models with PyTorch

Your profile

• Strong Python skills and experience with data processing
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or comparable ML frameworks
• Knowledge of FastAPI or similar web frameworks
• Understanding of microservice architectures and API design
• Experience with vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone) and hybrid/RAG retrieval is an advantage
• Experience with workflow orchestration (e.g. Prefect) is a plus
• Fluent German skills
