Accountant (West/ Work Life Balance! / 100% WFO/ Cap $7k + AWS + VB!)

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records of all business transactions
• Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Consolidate accounts for group entities on a quarterly basis and respond to shareholders’ queries as required

• Coordinate and complete audit schedules in a timely manner, manage the audit process, and ensure the timely submission of the Company’s accounts to ACRA, including annual returns and financial statements
• Compute corporate income tax accurately and manage timely submission of tax returns to IRAS, including responding to IRAS queries and audits
• Manage Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, including registration, quarterly filings, and reconciliations
• Advise on tax planning strategies, applicable exemptions, and available government incentives

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections
• Monitor budget vs actual performance and analyze variances
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis for major projects or investments

• Uphold ISCA Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics
• Pursue relevant professional qualifications such as CA (Singapore), ACCA, CPA Australia, or CFA
• Commit to continuous professional development to stay up to date with industry development
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant full set accounting & finance experience
• Meticulous, deadline-oriented and highly organized
• Knowledge of Microsoft Navision or Microsoft Business Central software will be an advantage
