Job Summary:

Responsibilities

  • Support and optimize machining processes and manufacturing methods for complex precision components.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings for fabrication work and select suitable standard parts and components.
  • Develop and maintain Process Management Plans, Process Route Cards, and Job Travellers.
  • Review process yields, cycle times, and production rates to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend cost reduction initiatives while improving process capability, productivity, and quality.
  • Lead and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Participate in manufacturing reviews, new product introductions, production transfers, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Standardize manufacturing processes and implement best practices across operations.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of machining processes such as milling, turning, lathes, grinding, and sheet metal operations; these are an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with metal fabrication processes, including welding, sheet metal work, and surface treatment.
  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering software such as SolidWorks, MasterCAM, or HyperMill.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in manufacturing process troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret technical and mechanical drawings.
