The Intern will be responsible for:
- Coordinate materials, tooling, and Lean improvements to support shop production.
- Manage shop scheduling and work on improved visibility with SAP reports.
- Liaise with Product Quality Specialists on Non-conformance tracking and resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Intern also will learn about the following:
- Streamline material staging and set-ups for production jobs.
- Improve shop scheduling using SAP.
- Deliverables with accurate dispatch lists, scheduling Tool using SAP data extracts and two Lean setup reduction projects.
Skills/Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commencesand working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical or Industrial Engineering majors preferred.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.
- Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Additional Information
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
- No relocation assistance provided.
- Internship is 12 weeks, May 24-August 13, 2027.
