Operations and Procurement Manager

HR Associates is supporting a growing client in recruiting an Operations and Procurement Manager in Concord, Ontario. This hands-on role oversees daily operations, purchasing, supplier relationships, and inventory coordination.

The position offers an annual salary range of 80,000 and health and dental benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations to support production targets, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and monitor supplier performance.
• Manage purchase orders, order tracking, invoice reconciliation, and supplier issues.
• Coordinate inventory planning, replenishment, inbound logistics, and freight scheduling.
• Maintain purchasing procedures, procurement records, and contract documentation.
• Monitor costs and operational performance, and implement process improvements.
• Support customer service and warranty claims.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Manufacturing experience, including creating and managing purchase orders.
• Education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of supplier negotiations, purchasing processes, and inventory coordination.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or purchasing systems are preferred.
• An SCMP designation or related procurement credential is an asset.
