Role Overview :
We are seeking an accomplished Program Manager to lead large-scale, complex enterprise application programs spanning product engineering, cloud, and modern application platforms. The role will own delivery outcomes end-to-end - from scoping and planning through execution, governance, release and closure - while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, DevOps and senior client/business stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong program governance with a product engineering mindset and sufficient technical depth to effectively oversee Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, Node.js and AWS-based solutions.
Experience & Exposure Required :
- 14+ years of experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise applications, with strong end-to-end program ownership.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices and Node.js technology stacks.
- Strong experience managing application delivery on AWS Cloud, with working knowledge of EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3 and API Gateway from a delivery and deployment standpoint.
- Experience managing complex projects with strong NFR considerations including scalability, performance, availability and fault tolerance from delivery planning and governance perspectives.
- Product background is mandatory - experience delivering enterprise products or product-based platforms, with exposure to product lifecycle, roadmap execution, feature prioritization and a productization mindset.
- Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum and SAFe delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience running sprints, releases and program-level ceremonies.
- Proven experience defining project and delivery plans, resource allocation, effort estimation and release planning across multiple workstreams.
- Strong track record managing project KPIs, delivery health metrics, budget tracking, risks, dependencies and escalations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior business, product and technology leaders.
- Strong communication skills for executive reporting, status updates, ROI discussions and change management.
Good to Have :
- Exposure to Generative AI / Agentic AI solutions, including LLMs, RAG architectures and enterprise AI adoption patterns from a delivery management perspective.
- Experience managing GenAI-based product implementations or AI-enabled feature rollouts within enterprise environments.
- Exposure to data-driven products, analytics platforms or AI/ML-driven solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end project delivery of large-scale enterprise applications covering scoping, planning, execution, governance and closure using Agile, Scrum or SAFe frameworks.
- Own the project and delivery plan for each assignment, including milestones, release strategy, resource allocation and dependency management.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, Product and Architecture teams to ensure smooth delivery of Java/J2EE and cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Oversee AWS-based application deployments by coordinating environment readiness, release management and production rollout activities with Engineering and DevOps.
- Partner closely with Product Management to align delivery priorities with product roadmap, business outcomes and customer needs, ensuring a product-first delivery mindset.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, scope changes and timelines for high-volume enterprise systems, ensuring predictable and reliable delivery.
- Run structured project governance including status meetings, backlog reviews, milestone reviews and delivery KPI tracking.
- Drive stakeholder communication including progress reports, executive updates, change requests and ROI discussions, ensuring alignment with SLAs and business KPIs.
- Ensure timely resource allocation, staffing and capacity planning across assignments based on program needs.
- Continuously improve delivery efficiency through Jira/Confluence, delivery metrics such as velocity, defect rates and cycle time, and lessons learned.
- Support pre-sales, effort estimation and staffing discussions for new assignments.
- Mentor project leads and delivery teams while fostering accountability, ownership and execution excellence.
