About Integrated Bio
Integrated Bio (integratedbio.com) is a physical AI company developing multimodal biological datasets and AI for drug discovery, focusing on aging and age-related diseases. We are risk-takers, and we bet heavily that the future of societal health lies at the intersection of biological discovery, drug design, and AI. Our growing, star-studded team includes accomplished industry veterans and scientists from top universities, including Harvard, Princeton, and UCSB. Our team has deployed large-scale scientific discovery systems, brought drug candidates to the clinic, and published in Nature, Science, and Cell. We have accomplished all of this with no egos, and we are growing fast.
About the Role
We are looking for two Research Associates in biology to join our core onsite team and run the key experiments that move the needle on human aging. You will work hands-on with cell cultures, molecular biology, and chemical biology workflows that feed our drug discovery pipeline, and you will see your data shape real decisions about real drug programs.
Our research associates have been at the top of their programs, and during their time at Integrated they have co-authored high-impact scientific papers and enjoyed highly successful career development trajectories. If you are detail-oriented, hungry, and want your bench work to matter, we want to hear from you.
You will
- Execute key experiments involving cell cultures and drug development
- Design follow-up experiments and troubleshoot results with creativity and rigor
- Maintain cell lines, reagent stocks, and day-to-day lab operations for assigned projects
- Analyze and organize experimental data and maintain thorough lab notebook documentation
- Communicate scientific results clearly to the team and to leadership
You're a good fit if you have
- A B.A. or B.S. degree in bioengineering, biology, chemistry, or a related field
- Hands-on experience working with cell cultures and chemicals in a research laboratory
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for cellular and molecular biology or bioengineering
- Excellent execution of planned experiments, and creativity to plan new ones
- The ability to learn and adapt quickly as part of a small team
- Willingness to work hard in service of moving the needle on human aging
Bonus points for
- Experience with chemical biology and drug discovery
- Experience with high-throughput chemical screening, including the handling of 96-, 384-, or 1536-well plates
- Mouse handling experience
- Experience with computational biology
- Interest in the business of biotech, especially therapeutics and drug discovery
What we offer
