About Integrated Bio
Integrated Bio (integratedbio.com) is a physical AI company developing multimodal biological datasets and AI for drug discovery, focusing on aging and age-related diseases. We are risk-takers, and we bet heavily that the future of societal health lies at the intersection of biological discovery, drug design, and AI. Our growing, star-studded team includes accomplished industry veterans and scientists from top universities, including Harvard, Princeton, and UCSB. Our team has deployed large-scale scientific discovery systems, brought drug candidates to the clinic, and published in Nature, Science, and Cell. We have accomplished all of this with no egos, and we are growing fast.
About the Role
We are looking for two technicians to join our onsite vivarium and tissue processing team and support the in vivo studies that move the needle on human aging. This is hands-on, essential work: our animal studies do not run without it, and the people who do it well become the backbone of our in vivo pharmacology engine.
You will keep our colonies healthy, our facilities running, and our tissues flowing into downstream analyses. You will work closely with scientists and see exactly how your work feeds the discovery of new therapies.
You will
- Assist with executing key experiments involving animal models
- Maintain animal colonies and facilities in a responsive, day-to-day manner, including bedding changes and health checks
- Perform hands-on animal handling tasks, including dosing, injections, and measurements
- Process tissues to support downstream analyses, including collection, fixation, and sectioning as trained
- Keep accurate records and communicate results clearly
You're a good fit if you have
- Detail orientation and experience working with mice and/or small animals in a laboratory setting
- Willingness to perform routine facility work reliably and well, every day
- Excellent execution of planned experiments, and creativity to plan new ones
- The ability to learn and adapt quickly as part of a small team
- Willingness to work hard in service of moving the needle on human aging
Bonus points for
- Prior (1+ years) mouse handling experience
- Histology or tissue processing experience
- A B.A. or B.S. degree in bioengineering, biology, chemistry, or a related field
What we offer
- Impact: You will play a key role in the work that drives our mission to cure age-related diseases. As an early hire, you will help shape the direction of the company, and your efforts will directly advance therapies with the potential to transform healthcare.
- People: You will work alongside a team of top-tier scientists and engineers, and directly with our founders, Dr. Felix Wong and Prof. Max Wilson. Our alumni have co-authored high-impact scientific papers and gone on to highly successful career trajectories.
- Flexibility: We cultivate an environment that is respectful of personal life and less rigid than academia or a large company. Joining us is like joining a family. We don't expect you to hang out with us outside of normal working hours, but it's likely you'll occasionally do so anyway because we're so fun.
Location & logistics
This role is located at our vivarium in San Carlos, CA, with the option to spend a small amount of time at our main offices at Redwood LIFE in Redwood City, CA.
Visa sponsorship available where applicable. We'll work with you to make it happen.
Timing: search underway September to November 2026; target start October to December 2026.
