DevOps Engineer (Sports Betting)

Join Bally's Intralot as a DevOps Engineer!

Your Role: As a DevOps Engineer at Bally's Intralot, you will take a key role in supporting and evolving the infrastructure behind our global sports betting platforms, where performance and real-time data matter.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Contribute to the design and maintenance of secure, robust, and high-performance infrastructure for our global gaming platforms.

• Take ownership of building and configuring environments end-to-end - from a freshly provisioned server to a fully operational, production-ready setup.

• Automate infrastructure configuration and deployment using Ansible, ensuring consistency and reliability across a large fleet of servers.

• Help implement and refine CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.

• Assist in maintaining cloud environments (AWS or Azure) to ensure efficiency and scalability.

• Optimize and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

• Help optimize real-time data flows and messaging systems using Kafka.

• Work closely with software teams to promote a DevOps-first culture.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should meet these qualifications:

• Strong, hands-on experience with Ansible, including writing and maintaining playbooks at scale.

• Demonstrated experience building a production environment from scratch, not just maintaining one.

• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux systems.

• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.

• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bamboo.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and spoken.
