BI Developer / Analyst

As a member of our team you are going to work together with Ipotekabank and OTP Group reporting experts, data analytics professionals and IT specialists on developing and maintaining smooth operation of complex databases. Your main task is to participate in the developments of our BI products, support data provision and data quality improvement processes in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into clear analytical datasets, data models, and visualizations
• Build and maintain analytical data models (facts, dimensions, star schemas) optimized for reporting
• Write efficient and readable SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and aggregation
• Implement data validation and quality checks within ETL processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Working with external and internal stakeholders and departments to investigate challenging reporting and data needs
• Implementation of new data models, measures, KPI indicators for Reporting layer (datamarts, tabular models, cubes etc.)
• Efficient cooperation and communication with the finance teams and business units across Ipoteka and OTP Group
• Active promotion of data provision and BI tools for other department colleagues, conducting training sessions

Required skills:

• Data Analysis and Business Intelligence: Proficient in SQL and PowerBI
• ETL and Data Integration: Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes
• Data Modeling and Warehousing: Experience in developing data models and implementing data warehouses
• Data Visualization: Creating insightful and interactive dashboards and reports for business users
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Effective communication skills, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
