AI Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join their Decision Science team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, building, and deploying production-ready AI and machine learning solutions that improve customer experiences, operational efficiency, and business decision-making.

Working across Data, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams, you'll develop scalable AI applications, integrate them into business workflows, and ensure they are reliable, secure, and measurable in production. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern AI technologies, including LLMs, document intelligence, NLP, and intelligent automation within a data-rich environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy production AI and machine learning solutions.
• Develop AI applications using LLMs, NLP, document intelligence, and intelligent automation tools.
• Build APIs, services, pipelines, and workflows that support business operations.
• Develop document processing and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions.
• Implement monitoring, evaluation, and governance processes for AI applications.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Drive best practices across AI engineering, documentation, testing, and deployment.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong professional software engineering experience using Python.
• Experience building and deploying AI, machine learning, NLP, or LLM-powered applications into production environments.
• Experience with SQL, APIs, databases, and semi-structured data.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, testing, source control, and CI/CD.
• Exposure to RAG, vector databases, embeddings, OCR, or document intelligence technologies will be advantageous.
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms, Snowflake, dbt, or orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
