Business Development Consultant (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective corporate clients nationally.
• Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, telephone and email prospecting.
• Establish relationships with HR Managers, HR Directors, business owners and other key decision-makers.
• Identify companies with current or future recruitment requirements.
• Present Staff Solutions' recruitment services to prospective clients.
• Secure new recruitment vacancies and business opportunities.
• Build and manage your own client pipeline.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients and generate repeat business.
• Maintain regular contact with prospective and existing clients.
• Work closely with the Staff Solutions recruitment team to ensure a professional handover of vacancies.
• Keep accurate records of prospects, leads and business opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

• Experienced in business development, sales, recruitment or account management.
• A confident and persuasive communicator.
• Highly self-motivated and results-driven.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging senior decision-makers.
• An excellent relationship builder.
• Entrepreneurial and commercially minded.
• Able to work independently and manage their own workload.
• Comfortable working remotely.
• Persistent, professional and target-driven.

Advantageous

• An existing network of corporate contacts.
• Previous recruitment industry experience.
• Existing relationships with HR professionals or business owners.
• Proven B2B sales experience.
• Knowledge of South African business and industry sectors.
• An established LinkedIn network.
