F&B Manager - 5-Star Boutique Hotel | Franschhoek, Western Cape
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and service-driven Food and Beverage Manager for an exceptional opportunity at a prestigious 5-star boutique hotel in Franschhoek, Western Cape. This role is ideally suited to a hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury food and beverage operations, excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Position: Food and Beverage Manager
Location: Franschhoek, Western Cape
Property: 5-Star Boutique Hotel
Salary: R35,000 - R45,000 per month, depending on experience
Key responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service standards and a seamless guest experience.
Lead, motivate and develop the food and beverage team, maintaining high levels of professionalism, efficiency and service excellence.
Ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet the expectations of a luxury hospitality environment.
Monitor operational costs, stock control, purchasing and inventory management to maintain profitability.
Manage budgets, revenue targets and departmental expenses, implementing strategies to improve financial performance.
Work closely with the kitchen, front office and other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, presentation and compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Assist with menu planning, beverage selection, promotions and the development of creative dining experiences.
Conduct staff training and performance management to encourage continuous improvement and consistent service delivery.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Food and Beverage Manager or senior food and beverage leadership role within a 5-star hotel, luxury boutique property or fine-dining environment.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, stock control and cost management.
Proven leadership abilities, with the confidence to manage, motivate and develop a diverse team.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
A strong understanding of budgeting, financial reporting and departmental profitability.
A hands-on approach, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure.
A genuine passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction and delivering memorable dining experiences.
Professional presentation and the ability to maintain the high standards expected within a luxury property.
