Our client is looking for a Finance Clerk to join their Head Office Finance Team and play an important role in supporting accurate and efficient financial processes across the Group.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Processing daily receipts, payments, cashbook entries, and journal allocations
• Reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies timeously
• Capturing and verifying supplier invoices and credit notes
• Preparing and processing supplier payments via online banking
• Performing monthly supplier reconciliations and resolving outstanding queries
• Providing administrative support across creditors, debtors, revenue reporting, petty cash, and related finance functions

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management reports and supporting schedules
• Ensuring accurate and timely capturing of financial data in Pastel
• Supporting the Finance Team with month-end processes and reporting requirements

• Responding to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders within agreed timelines
• Liaising with suppliers regarding statements, queries, and payment arrangements
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and hotel teams

• Upholding the Group’s values and contributing positively to the workplace culture
• Supporting sustainability initiatives within the Finance Department and broader business
• Contributing to a collaborative, professional, and service-focused Finance Team

What you’ll need:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting environment
• Essential experience in creditors, cashbook, and/or petty cash
• Working knowledge of Pastel Accounting, Micros, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail
• High level of accuracy and commitment to financial compliance
• Ability to prioritise workloads and consistently meet strict deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, organised, and service-oriented approach
