IT INFRASTRUCTURE & NETWORK MANAGER | AFRICA

• Taking ownership of IT infrastructure, networking and day-to-day IT operations
• Assessing the current environment and implementing a secure, robust and scalable IT infrastructure
• Developing and strengthening cybersecurity controls, systems and processes
• Managing networks, connectivity, servers, hardware and user support
• Working with Microsoft 365, ERP/Annata and other business systems
• Developing and managing a local IT support team
• Identifying risks, implementing improvements and ensuring business continuity
• Working closely with Group IT and international stakeholders
• Supporting operations across different sites in Africa and the Middle East as required

• Strong experience in IT infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity
• A hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues personally
• Experience building, improving or securing IT environments
• Previous experience working in Africa, ideally on expatriate/contract assignments
• Strong networking knowledge, with exposure to technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet or similar advantageous
• Microsoft 365 / Azure / server and systems administration experience
• ERP experience; Annata/Dynamics 365 exposure would be advantageous
• The leadership ability to build and develop a capable IT team
• A practical, resilient and adaptable approach to working in a challenging environment

Practical. Resilient. Technically strong. Not afraid to get their hands dirty. Someone who can walk into an evolving environment, understand what needs to be done, put the right infrastructure and security in place, build a team around it and make things work.

International experience across Africa is highly advantageous but not essential.
