Microsoft Power Platform Developer

Duties:

• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, applications and system control tools.
• Research new technologies and recommend tools and solutions that can add value.
• Maintain systems, apply updates and security measures, and help protect the organisation from vulnerabilities.
• Manage security, backup and redundancy strategies.
• Manage IT projects and provide regular feedback to the IT Manager.
• Design, develop and administer Microsoft SharePoint solutions.
• Develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Support and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
• Explore and support the implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions.
• Participate in the company suggestion scheme and quality circles.
• Perform ad hoc IT activities as required.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Microsoft Certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Systems Administration.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with Microsoft SharePoint.
• Experience in software development and systems integration.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Experience in Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience in project management and digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI technologies and their business applications will be advantageous.
