Microsoft Sales Specialist

Location: Pretoria (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Microsoft Sales Specialist to grow our Microsoft Cloud business by identifying, developing and closing opportunities across Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Copilot, CSP Licensing and Managed Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a strong Microsoft Cloud sales pipeline.
• Develop new business while expanding existing customer relationships.
• Conduct consultative, solution-led customer engagements to understand business needs.
• Identify and close opportunities across Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Copilot and Managed Services.
• Prepare proposals, business cases and customer presentations.
• Work closely with technical teams to deliver customer-focused Microsoft Cloud solutions.
• Achieve revenue, gross profit and recurring revenue targets while maintaining accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, Commerce, or a related field.
• Microsoft, cloud, or sales methodology certifications/training are advantageous.
• Minimum 3+ years' ICT solution sales experience.
• Experience selling Microsoft Cloud solutions, licensing, cloud services, or managed services.
• Experience in a Microsoft Partner, CSP, Managed Services Provider (MSP), Systems Integrator, IT Reseller, or Cloud Services environment is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of:
• Microsoft 365 (Modern Work, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune, Copilot)
• Microsoft Azure Infrastructure
• Microsoft Security (Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview)
• CSP licensing and Microsoft licensing models
• Managed Services and cloud transformation solutions
• Ability to identify customer business needs and recommend outcome-based Microsoft Cloud solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to achieve revenue, gross profit, and recurring revenue targets.
