? Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specification of fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, suppression systems).
  • Design and specification of wet services (water supply, drainage, sewerage, hot & cold water systems).
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and tender documentation.
  • Manage project delivery from concept through construction and commissioning.
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure compliance with SANS codes, NFPA standards, and local authority requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

? Requirements

  • PrEng registration with ECSA (essential).
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in building services consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection and wet services design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Proven track record in delivering projects within budget and timelines.
