Sales Representative

Duties will include, but not limited to

• Answer phone calls (Communicating with customers, making calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.)
• Creation of customer accounts on Pastel
• Creation of quotes and job cards. (Understanding the customers' needs and future sales opportunities.)
• Quote follow up ensure the clients needs are met. (To verify receipt of quote and confirm that quoted details are correct, close the deal receive order)
• Ensure follow up is done till customer receives stock. (Track back orders)
• Have experience and understanding or the full order entry process.

• Know AMG product features and benefits as well as opposition details.
• Monitoring of stock levels at warehouse and knowing stock quantities at all times.
• Responsible for presentation of front desk - To be kept neat.
• Attending to walk-in customers.
• Ability to assist in planning deliveries.

• Work closely with external sales reps and be their support.
• Compiling purchase orders - PO Procedure
• Client feedback - quotes/jobs outstanding or ready(24-48hours)

• Involved in compiling and performing stock takes
• Journal entries related to stock adjustments and modifications
• Ensuring up to date debtor information
• Support function to sales team
• Manage all forms of communication, email, WhatsApp’s, phone calls.

• Attention to detail - Data entry skills
• Ability to work under immense pressure and within deadline

• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently without supervision
• Able to work overtime or additional hours when required

• Minimum of 5 years in sales (product related heavy duty industrial equipment and parts)
• Pastel Partner experience
• Microsoft office experience (Outlook/Excel/Word)
• Grade 12
• Live within a 15-20km radius
• Have a valid driver’s license with own vehicle
