Senior Financial Accountant
You'll be joining a large, established real estate business with a diversified portfolio across multiple property sectors and a footprint that extends beyond local markets. With a substantial property portfolio and a business focused on actively managing and growing its assets, this is an environment where finance sits close to the commercial side of the organisation.
For you, this is an opportunity to gain deeper exposure to what drives asset and portfolio performance across a large commercial property environment. You'll partner closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to understand the factors influencing property returns and investment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly financial reporting and management accounts
- Perform reconciliations and investigate financial variances
- Analyse financial results and provide meaningful commentary
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Assist with audit, statutory reporting and financial controls
- Contribute to improving reporting processes and financial efficiencies
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- CIMA qualification completed or currently in progress
- Minimum 5 years' relevant Financial Accounting experience
- Property industry experience (essential)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP systems exposure
