Senior Financial Manager

The successful candidate will lead the finance function, taking responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and financial controls. Working closely with executive leadership and operational teams, you will provide meaningful insight into profitability, pricing, cost management, business performance, and strategic decision-making. This role requires a hands-on individual who can balance operational detail with commercial thinking while driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

Skills & Experience:

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and business analysis
• Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital performance
• Analyse revenue, profitability, margins, and key business performance indicators
• Develop and maintain pricing models to support commercial decision-making
• Monitor stock performance, ageing, profitability, and cost recovery initiatives
• Partner with operational leaders to improve efficiencies and financial outcomes
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and financial controls
• Support business growth initiatives through financial modelling and business cases
• Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, tax, and governance requirements
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
• Act as a key financial advisor to executive leadership
• Extensive experience in financial management, management accounting, and commercial finance
• Proven experience within a high-volume, operationally focused environment
• Strong financial modelling, reporting, and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience
• Strong understanding of pricing, profitability, working capital, and cash flow management
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop finance teams

Qualification:

• CA(SA) or CIMA qualification preferred
