Technical Sales Intern

As a Technical Sales Intern in our Engineering and Technical sector, you will report to the Operations team in our Midrand office. This Contractor position offers an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to our business by engaging with OEM generator owners/operators across Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a structured customer outreach process.
  • Identify and contact owners/operators of Siemens Energy OEM generators across Africa.
  • Collect and validate information on equipment operating conditions, maintenance history, and more.
  • Maintain accurate records within SE business systems.
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales, and service teams to verify technical information.
  • Analyse fleet data and support report development.
  • Help prepare recommendations to improve generator performance.
  • Provide regular project status reporting.

What You Bring

  • Recent or current degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools.
  • Ability to work independently and drive project deliverables.
If you have an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a keen interest in power generation, this opportunity is for you. Fluent English skills are required, with French language skills considered an advantage.
