Senior Technical Sales Representative in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga

A dynamic company in the fluid power industry is looking for a Senior Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with Mathematics and Science
• Computer literacy
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• At least five years’ sales experience in the fluid power industry
• Hydraulic and/or pneumatics training completed through a MerSETA-accredited training provider
• Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge or experience
• Knowledge of the SYSPRO ERP system will be advantageous
• Willingness and ability to work underground
• Medically fit to perform the required duties

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, motivated, and results-driven. They should have strong negotiation and communication skills, be reliable, ethical, and well-organised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve annual gross-profit and sales targets
• Visit existing customers in line with weekly activity targets
• Complete and maintain accurate call reports
• Manage customer information, feedback and account platforming
• Respond to customer enquiries promptly
• Prepare accurate quotations within the required turnaround times
• Maintain excellent levels of customer service
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers
• Develop new business and achieve customer-acquisition targets
• Provide accurate information internally
• Assist with tenders where applicable
• Prepare and present sales reports at management sales meetings
• Comply with reporting requirements
