Accountabilities
- Collect, clean, transform, organize, and analyze data to generate reliable and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring the quality, reliability, availability, and integrity of information.
- Build SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support business decision-making.
- Work with large-scale datasets using Big Data technologies and modern data-processing frameworks.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to efficiently move and transform data across systems.
- Conduct exploratory and statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and potential business risks.
- Support Data Science and Machine Learning initiatives by contributing to the development and operationalization of analytical models.
- Apply data governance, security, quality, and architecture best practices throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate data into practical solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes, architectures, tools, and analytical practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Intermediate-level professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or data science, with the ability to independently develop solutions and generate data-driven insights.
- Proven experience with data analysis, treatment, manipulation, and processing.
- Advanced SQL skills and practical experience working with databases.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Python for data analysis and processing.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Big Data technologies and ecosystems, including Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT processes.
- Understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a clear understanding of business needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business and technology teams.
- Organized, proactive, quality-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership in dynamic environments.
- Knowledge of Java and/or Scala is an advantage.
- Experience with statistical and predictive modeling, time-series analysis, or clustering is a plus.
- Experience with Machine Learning techniques such as regression, decision trees, clustering, or neural networks is desirable.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is advantageous.
- Cloud and/or Databricks certifications are considered a plus.
