This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) Android PL/SR based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a strategic mobile technology project built around Agile delivery, microservices, and cloud computing. You will develop and evolve native Android applications with a strong focus on performance, security, scalability, and user experience. The position combines hands-on development with architectural thinking, API integrations, and close collaboration with backend, architecture, and product teams. You will work in multidisciplinary squads and contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering quality. The environment encourages collaboration, continuous learning, and the adoption of modern mobile development practices. It is a strong opportunity for a mid-level or senior developer looking to make an impact on robust, large-scale digital solutions.

Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and evolve native Android applications, ensuring strong performance, security, stability, and scalability.
• Apply and continuously improve mobile software architecture and development best practices.
• Build and maintain integrations with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers working with Spring Boot, as well as architecture and product teams.
• Contribute to solutions based on microservices and cloud computing within a strategic technology project.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with multidisciplinary squads.
• Perform and contribute to code reviews, promoting clean, maintainable, secure, and high-quality code.
• Help identify opportunities to improve application performance, architecture, reliability, and overall engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional experience developing Android applications, with strong knowledge of native Android development.
• Solid experience with Java and Kotlin for Android development.
• Knowledge of Flutter and hybrid or cross-platform application development.
• Experience with React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of backend development and RESTful services using Spring Boot.
• Understanding of mobile architecture principles and best practices for building robust and scalable applications.
• Experience working in Agile environments and multidisciplinary development squads.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering, architecture, and product stakeholders.
• Attention to code quality, security, performance, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to contribute to technical discussions and code reviews with a strong quality-oriented mindset.
