This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Ecommerce Associate Account Director based in United States.
This role serves as a strategic day-to-day partner for a portfolio of 4-6 lifestyle, high-AOV, or high-SKU consumer brands.
You’ll connect full-funnel marketing strategy with measurable business outcomes across longer and more considered purchase journeys.
The position combines client relationship management, cross-channel strategy, performance analysis, and growth planning.
You’ll translate complex marketing data into clear insights that help clients make smarter investment and measurement decisions.
Working across paid media, SEO, content, email, and creative teams, you’ll ensure execution remains aligned with broader account strategy.
You’ll also help identify retention, expansion, and revenue growth opportunities while supporting senior account leadership.
The environment is collaborative, AI-enabled, and focused on developing high-impact strategies that drive meaningful client results.
Accountabilities:
- Own the day-to-day strategic relationship for a portfolio of 4-6 lifestyle, high-AOV, or high-SKU consumer accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Lead client conversations and own the performance narrative, including weekly calls for larger accounts and support for project-manager-led calls on smaller accounts.
- Translate strategic roadmap outputs into clear weekly priorities while maintaining alignment between short-term performance needs and longer-cycle growth strategies.
- Track and interpret full-funnel performance across awareness, consideration, and conversion, identifying insights and measurement gaps that clients can act upon.
- Coordinate paid media, SEO, content, email, and creative teams around a unified account strategy and ensure execution supports client objectives.
- Help clients understand the limitations of last-touch attribution and guide them toward broader measurement frameworks that support informed budget decisions.
- Support retention and growth strategies by analyzing repeat purchase rates, customer lifetime value by acquisition cohort, and post-purchase lifecycle performance.
- Partner with Account Directors on quarterly strategy development, renewal preparation, service expansion, and broader account growth initiatives.
- Build strong, trusted client relationships while contributing to a target of at least 90% account retention.
- Use AI-enabled platforms and performance intelligence tools daily to identify issues proactively, surface opportunities, and maintain consistent account-management processes.
- Coach and develop team members while contributing to marketing strategy, execution, client retention, and client revenue growth.
- 4-7 years of experience in lifestyle, high-AOV, considered-purchase, or comparable consumer marketing environments, with hands-on client relationship management experience.
- Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing strategy and how awareness, consideration, and conversion channels work together across longer purchase journeys.
- Practical understanding of attribution challenges, including the limitations of last-touch measurement and the ability to communicate these concepts clearly to non-technical clients.
- Working knowledge of upper-funnel channels such as content, SEO, YouTube, and programmatic advertising.
- Experience working with consumer brands where creative quality, storytelling, and brand differentiation play an important role in growth.
- Demonstrated ability to manage clients through longer measurement and purchasing cycles while maintaining confidence and strong relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex, multi-channel performance data into clear and actionable business narratives.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate teams across multiple marketing disciplines.
- Strategic, analytical, and commercially minded approach, with a focus on identifying opportunities for account retention, expansion, and revenue growth.
- Comfortable working with AI-enabled marketing technologies and adopting new tools to improve efficiency, analysis, and decision-making.
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
- Base salary paid in USD with commission opportunities.
- Unlimited time off available from day one.
- Flexible work environment with full-remote, in-office, or hybrid options.
- $50/month healthcare stipend to support healthcare or insurance costs.
- National holidays plus two Mental Health Recharge Days each year.
- Opportunities for career progression and leadership development within a rapidly growing organization.
- Ongoing personal and professional development programs.
- Quarterly awards featuring recognition and prize opportunities for outstanding performance.
- Opportunities to participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Collaborative, people-focused culture with an emphasis on learning, accountability, and meaningful client impact.
