Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to take a leading part in designing, developing, and evolving cloud-based applications and services at scale. You will work across the full stack, contributing to APIs, backend services, databases, and user-facing applications that support complex data and activation workflows. The position combines hands-on engineering with system design, technical decision-making, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. You will also contribute to production support, integrations, troubleshooting, and the evolution of existing platforms. As a senior engineer, you will have opportunities to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and help shape effective technical solutions.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of cloud-based applications, APIs, backend services, and full-stack web applications.
• Build and maintain solutions supporting audience onboarding, audience management, taxonomy management, and activation workflows.
• Develop deep expertise in existing products, services, workflows, and business processes, contributing to their reliability, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous evolution.
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions, evaluating trade-offs and proposing scalable, secure, maintainable solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Design and implement integrations between internal systems, databases, cloud services, and third-party platforms using APIs, data pipelines, and service-oriented architectures.
• Develop and support distributed systems using RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing patterns, and event-driven architectures.
• Contribute to monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, performance analysis, and continuous improvement to maintain reliable and observable production systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in peer reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
• Contribute to source control, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Help ensure applications and services meet high standards for scalability, security, reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong professional experience in software engineering, with demonstrated expertise across full-stack web development and backend systems.
• Hands-on experience developing backend services using C# and .NET.
• Strong knowledge of API design and development, particularly RESTful APIs.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably in AWS environments.
• Practical experience with SQL and database design.
• Experience integrating distributed systems and connecting internal and external platforms through APIs and service-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of source control, CI/CD, and modern software development and delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, Aurora, and CloudWatch.
• Experience designing integrations using REST APIs, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to analyze system design and technical solution trade-offs related to scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Experience with application troubleshooting, performance analysis, monitoring, and production support in distributed environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global product, architecture, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency, as the role involves daily interaction with global teams.
• Willingness and availability to travel to São Carlos, São Paulo, when required.
