Job Summary

Serve as a collaborative leader and trusted advisor within the Operations Team, with the objective of providing world-class operational service delivery to the client's portfolio and customers. Advise clients on various aspects of facilities and compliance program delivery, owning the process from idea to execution. Identify key priorities across programs, align organizational stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure quality, speed, predictability, and outcomes - including full oversight of Fire Life Safety vendor management and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities

1. Relationship Management

• Lead the client relationship and interface for assigned business segment(s) and additional initiatives

• Establish a "Trusted Advisor" relationship with client counterparts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in compliance, programs, focused on but not limited to fire life safety

• Coordinate work and/or approvals between internal and/or external groups

2. Program Management & Operations

• Lead programs to create value for the client and ensure program deliveries meet or exceed expectations

• Drive adherence to established processes while demonstrating agility and creativity to meet dynamic business needs

• Provide management and leadership direction for the design, development, and implementation of programs

• Manage the approval process for all assigned projects and escalate risks throughout the organization appropriately

• Collaborate with account-wide team and proactively share and reapply all learnings, successes, and best practices

3. Fire Life Safety Vendor Management

• Serve as the primary point of accountability for all Fire Life Safety (FLS) vendor relationships, contracts, and performance

• Oversee the selection, onboarding, and ongoing performance management of FLS vendors including inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) contractors

• Ensure all FLS vendors maintain current certifications, licenses, and insurance in accordance with applicable codes and client requirements

• Manage and track completion of all FLS inspections, testing, and maintenance activities across the portfolio to ensure full compliance with NFPA, IFC, and local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date FLS records, inspection reports, deficiency logs, and corrective action documentation

• Coordinate with the EHS team and client stakeholders to resolve FLS deficiencies in a timely manner

• Serve as the point of escalation for FLS-related incidents, regulatory findings, or vendor performance issues

• Review and approve FLS vendor scopes of work, proposals, and invoices in alignment with budget parameters

4. Quality & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with client requirements and regulatory standards

• Conduct and manage regular compliance audits, site inspections, and gap analyses across the portfolio

• Track and report on key compliance KPIs, corrective actions, and program performance metrics

• Identify trends and patterns in compliance data; develop and implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans

• Ensure timely completion and documentation of all regulatory reporting obligations

• Collaborate with operations, sourcing, and EHS teams to embed quality and compliance standards into day-to-day service delivery participation in RFPs etc.

• Compose, review, and maintain technical documentation including audit reports, compliance registers, and program manuals

• Responsible for oversight and completion of JLL JCAP Program

5. Reporting & Executive Communication

• Provide regular executive-level dashboard and presentation reporting on program, compliance, and FLS performance

• Manage and report on critical and key performance measurements

• Prepare and present compliance and FLS status updates to client and JLL leadership as required

7. Other

• Any and all other duties and tasks assigned

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) in a science, technical, or related discipline

Preferred

Master's Degree in Real Estate, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Science, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field

8 years of relevant experience in facilities management, compliance, or program management

8+ years, with direct experience managing Fire Life Safety programs and/or vendor oversight

Skills & Knowledge

• Facilities management, compliance program development, and/or program management

• Fire Life Safety systems, codes, and vendor management (NFPA, IFC, AHJ requirements)

• Background composing technical documentation, SOPs, audit reports, and compliance records

• Ability to recognize and diagnose trends, patterns, and compliance risks

• Strong analytical skills including root cause analysis and solution development

• Demonstrated client relationship management and trusted advisor skills

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with technical, quality assurance, and operational personnel

• Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team

• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work well in a demanding, fast-paced environment

Certifications/Licenses

• Preferred: CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist), CFM (Certified Facility Manager), or equivalent compliance/FLS certification

Expected compensation for this position:

84,600.00 - 122,700.00 USD per year

Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
