Senior Finance Analyst - Accounts Payable

What this job involves:

• Manage and oversee the daily accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments

• Develop and implement AP policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Analyse AP data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings

• Prepare and review various AP reports, including aging reports, cash flow projections, and vendor analysis

• Reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies

• Manage vendor relationships, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues

• Mentor junior AP team members, providing guidance and training as needed

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline AP processes and integrate with other financial systems

• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes

• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the AP function

• 4-5 years’ experience in a similar position (working with international teams and clients is preferable).

• Ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
• Ability to learn quickly, and desire to develop.
• Customer Service: Commitment to solve requests and problems.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Intermediate / Advanced PC skills, proficient in Office tools, such as Microsoft Outlook Word & Excel. Including Excel Pivot Tables & Microsoft Access.
• Familiarity with JDE E1 financial is advantageous
