WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT

As a Senior IT System Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure across our Distribution Centres.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Design and implement system standards together with IT Architects
• Lead the migration from VMware to Hyper-V environments
• Strengthen IT security in server environments in line with HQ guidelines
• Coordinate tasks and activities within the Logistics IT Server Administration Team
• Ensure performance optimisation, high availability, and SLA compliance
• Plan and execute patching, updates, and service windows
• Proactively monitor systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Support IT projects with technical input and secure high-quality documentation

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

We are looking for a structured and proactive IT professional who enjoys both technical challenges and coordination.

You bring:

• Solid experience (3+ years) as a Senior IT System Administrator in complex IT environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell)
• Experience with VMware and knowledge of Hyper-V, including migrations
• Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate in English - minimum B2 level

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Knowledge of Linux environments
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), SLAs and root cause analysis
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, VCP)
• Experience with documentation, Microsoft Office and diagram tools
