TechnoIdentity is looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Expert to manage, optimize, and scale high-performance database systems. The role involves working on complex data environments, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and database security for enterprise-grade applications.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases for high-traffic applications.
  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing.
  • Handle database migrations, upgrades, and version management.
  • Ensure high availability, replication, and backup and recovery strategies.
  • Monitor database health, capacity planning, and performance metrics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production.
  • Work closely with application, DevOps, and architecture teams.
  • Ensure database security, access control, and compliance best practices.
  • Create and maintain database documentation and standards.


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, query optimization, and indexing.
  • Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Knowledge of replication, clustering, and high availability.
  • Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong understanding of database security and role management.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.


Good to Have:

  • Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS / GCP / Azure).
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and automation.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise systems.
