Tech stack of TechnoIdentity

We are looking for a Lead Python Developer who can take ownership of backend development, design scalable applications, and guide a team of developers. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python, backend architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies, along with good leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of Python/backend developers.
Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using Python.
Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
Review code and ensure coding standards, performance, and security.
Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Drive best practices around testing, CI/CD, documentation, and development processes.

Requirements:

8+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
Strong knowledge of Python, OOP, and data structures.
Experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI.
Strong experience in REST APIs and Microservices.
Good knowledge of SQL and databases - PostgreSQL / MySQL.
Experience with Redis / caching.
Strong understanding of AWS / Azure / GCP.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
Good understanding of Git.
Experience working with Kafka / RabbitMQ is preferred.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience in leading/mentoring developers.

Good to Have:

Kubernetes
Terraform
Elasticsearch
Celery
GraphQL
AWS services such as EC2 S3 Lambda, RDS.
Experience designing highly scalable systems.
Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI applications.

Leadership Expectations:

Should be hands-on, not purely a people manager.
Ability to make technical decisions and drive architecture.
Mentor junior and senior developers.
Conduct code reviews and technical discussions.
Own modules/features from design, development, deployment, and production support.
