YOUR ROLE
Weare lookingfor a Database Administrator (DBA) with 3-5 yearsof experienceto join an infrastructureteam dedicatedto the management, maintenanceand optimizationof Oracle and/or IBM DB2 databases.The successfulcandidate willcontributeto ensuringthe reliability, security and performance of corporate database environments, working bothon production systems and in support of developmentactivities, whilecollaboratingwith differenttechnical teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performroutine and extraordinarymonitoring of database instances, ensuringservice continuity.
Install, configure, upgrade and patch Oracle and/or IBM DB2 environments.
Support database migrationand configurationactivities.
Managebackup and recovery activities and support DisasterRecovery processes.
Performperiodicbackup and restoretests.
Analyze and optimize database, query and index performance.
Configureand optimizesystem parameters.
Managedata security, access controls, privilegesand auditing activities.
Collaborate with developmentteams on data model definitionand SQL/PL-SQL code optimization.
Provide second-levelsupport for the management and resolutionof incidentsand performance issues.
Performtroubleshootingand root-cause analysisof anomalies.
Automateoperationaland repetitiveactivities throughscripting.
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 yearsof experienceasa Database Administrator or in similarroles.
Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database, preferablyversions12c, 19c or later.
Experience with Oracle RMAN for backup and recovery activities.
Knowledge of high-availabilityOracle architectures, suchasOracle RAC and Data Guard.
Abilityto writeand optimizePL/SQL procedures.
Knowledge of IBM DB2 in Linux, UNIX, Windows (LUW) and/or Mainframe z/OS environments.
Familiaritywith the mainDB2 tools and utilities, includingdb2pd, db2top, RUNSTATS, REORG and LOAD/IMPORT.
Knowledge of backup, restoreand log management activities in DB2 environments.
Knowledge of high-availabilityDB2 architectures, suchaspureScaleor HADR.
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server operatingsystems.
Knowledge of scripting languagessuchasBash, Shell, PowerShellor Python for task automation.
Familiaritywith the mainnetworking and storage concepts relatedto database environments.
Good knowledge of technical English, approximatelyB1/B2 level.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in complexenterpriseand mission-criticalenvironments.
Experience managingdatabases in highlyavailableand reliableenvironments.
Knowledge of additionaldatabase administrationtechnologiesand tools.
Experience automatingDBA activities throughscripting.
Knowledge of monitoring and performance management tools.
Oracle and/or IBM DB2 certifications.

WHAT WE OFFER
The proposed compensation includes a gross annual salary (RAL) between €40,000 and €45,000, depending on experience and skills.
