About the Role
We are looking for a Business Operations Specialist to join our Business Operations team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients, monitor business and operational performance, and help turn client needs and opportunities into concrete actions and solutions.
The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen and analytical thinking with a hands-on approach, being comfortable managing client relationships, working with financial and operational indicators, and supporting the implementation and improvement of projects when needed.
Your role:
- Own and develop relationships with a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted partner and main point of contact.
- Monitor client performance, usage and key business indicators, turning data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Understand clients’ business needs and challenges, identifying opportunities to create value, improve performance and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Track relevant financial and operational indicators, including volumes, costs and margins, and understand their impact on the business.
- Lead regular client follow-ups and business reviews, ensuring clear communication on performance, priorities, challenges and next steps.
- Work closely with internal teams to translate client needs and business opportunities into concrete actions and solutions.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, driving initiatives that improve both client experience and business performance.
- Contribute to business planning, reporting and decision-making by bringing together customer, operational and financial perspectives.
- Support the implementation and evolution of projects when required, ensuring alignment between client expectations, operational delivery and business objectives.
About you
- Fluency in both Portuguese and English, with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and in conversation.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Business, Business Operations, Consulting, or a related field.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business models, value drivers and how operational decisions impact business performance.
- Experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate confidently with different audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into clear recommendations and actions.
- Comfortable working with business and financial metrics, including revenues, costs, margins, volumes and performance indicators.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients, projects and priorities independently.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to identify issues and opportunities, take ownership and drive actions through to completion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and adapt communication to different stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively across different teams and coordinate stakeholders towards a common objective.
It will be a plus if you
- Have previous experience in healthcare, health technology, SaaS or another service-based environment.
- Have experience managing a portfolio of clients or accounts.
- Have experience preparing business reviews, performance reports or client-facing presentations.
- Have experience working with financial or commercial indicators such as revenue, costs, margins or profitability.
- Have strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience working with data, dashboards and reporting tools.
- Have experience working in a fast-paced or scale-up environment.
