Analytics Engineer Mid

As a Mid-Level Analytics Engineer, you will support the development of Körber’s marketing analytics and reporting capabilities in a modern, AI-driven environment. Working closely with the data team, you will complete defined tasks in Databricks, contribute to AI agents that let users ask natural-language questions about marketing, website, and CRM data, and support selected reporting work in Power BI or Microsoft Fabric when needed. The role combines hands-on implementation with ad hoc analysis. You will need to understand relevant business logic so that your work is accurate, useful, and aligned with the intended reporting outcome. Our technology environment includes Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AI/ML services, and a central data lake.

Your role in our team

• Implement SQL queries, data models, and reporting components in Databricks based on defined requirements.

• Contribute to AI agents for natural-language questions about marketing, website, and CRM data, including prompt design, retrieval, testing, and evaluation.

• Perform ad hoc analyses and data checks, applying relevant business logic and documenting assumptions and results.

• Support the migration of selected reporting use cases from Power BI to Databricks and occasionally maintain or enhance reports in Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.

• Identify data quality issues, follow team standards for documentation and development, and collaborate with the data team to resolve open questions.

Your profile

• Practical experience with SQL and Databricks or a similar cloud data platform.

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, prompt design, agent evaluation, or similar AI application patterns.

• Genuine interest in AI, with the motivation to learn, experiment, and develop further in AI-assisted analytics.

• Understanding of data analysis fundamentals and the ability to apply business logic to marketing, website, campaign, or CRM data.

• Familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including reports, datasets, or data models, to support occasional reporting tasks.

• Reliable and collaborative working style, with the ability to complete assigned tasks, ask effective questions, and communicate clearly within the data team.
