Digital Marketer - Japan

Job Description:

• Execute local digital marketing campaigns based on regional marketing strategy, business objectives, target audience, budget, and campaign timelines
• Adapt regional campaigns to the Japan market based on local customer behavior, market trends, language, culture, and channel dynamics
• Support CRM/database coordination and landing-page collaboration with the global marketing team
• Manage and optimize paid digital campaigns across relevant local platforms (e.g., LINE, Yahoo! Japan, Google) and global advertising platforms
• Develop and localize marketing content, including ad copy, social content, landing-page content, email content, and short-form video materials
• Drive lead generation through paid media, digital campaigns, landing pages, forms, and events
• Coordinate with internal teams, agencies, designers, and other external partners for content and campaign production
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on impressions, CTR, CPC, CPL, conversion rate, lead volume, and ROI/ROAS
• Provide local market insights, competitor observations, and recommendations to the Marketing Lead
• Prepare regular campaign performance reports with actionable recommendations

Requirements:

• Native-level Japanese and strong professional English (English fluency is a requirement, given past coordination gaps with the existing contractor)
• Demonstrated experience marketing to Japanese B2B audiences and familiarity with Japan's digital advertising ecosystem
• Preferred: electronics, manufacturing, engineering, technology, or another technical B2B sector
