Requirements
Job Description:
Create ETL packages using SSIS to load data from disparate data sources. Troubleshoot issues related to SQL database reported by users and app team. Create and modify reports using SSRS and/or Power BI. Analyze SQL queries and SSRS reports for performance improvements. Perform SQL data analysis and updates to resolve software issues. Communicate with all levels of stakeholders as appropriate, including executives, data analysts, application developers, business users, and customers. Work in close collaboration with IT and engineering teams to help to streamline processes including troubleshooting, hands-on software support, data cleansing, and data synchronization. Develop automated solutions to address potential problems before they result in a service interruption.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in database development and support.
- Must have 5 years of experience in:
- Writing, analyzing, and optimizing SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL);
- Developing and maintaining ETL processes;
- Supporting and troubleshooting database issues in a production environment;
- Performing data analysis and executing data updates to resolve application issues;
- Creating and modifying database reports using reporting tools;
- Working with relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Must have 1 year of experience in the financial services or payments industry.
- Experience may be, but need not be acquired concurrently.
- Position reports to Atlanta, GA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
