Pre Sales Engineer

Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, schedules, and customer requirements.
Select suitable lighting fixtures, drivers, controls, poles, and accessories according to project needs.
Prepare technical and commercial offers, quotations, BOQs, compliance sheets, product comparisons, and submittals.
Prepare lighting calculations and simulations using DIALux or similar software when required.
Support the sales team during customer meetings, technical discussions, and clarification requests.
Prepare technical presentations and explain proposed lighting solutions to customers and consultants.
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain prices, technical data, availability, lead times, warranties, and compliance documents.
Study tender documents and identify technical deviations, missing information, and project risks.
Prepare responses to RFQs, tenders, RFPs, and consultant inquiries.
Compare alternative products based on performance, price, availability, compliance, and project suitability.
Coordinate with the purchasing, sales, project management to ensure accurate handover of awarded projects.
Follow up on submitted offers and support the sales team in closing opportunities.
Maintain organized records of quotations, product data, technical files, and customer correspondence.
Stay updated on new lighting products, technologies, standards, and market developments.
Requirements
The candidate must be based in Port Said
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in presales, technical sales, lighting field, or a similar role.
knowledge of LED lighting products and technical specifications is preferred
Experience with DIALux, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, AI tools and Microsoft Office.
