Workshop Engineer

Diagnose vehicle faults using approved diagnostic tools and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Supervise maintenance and repair activities to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
Assign repair jobs to technicians based on workload, skills, and job complexity, and monitor work progress.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians for complex repair cases.
Conduct final inspections and quality checks before vehicle delivery to ensure repair effectiveness.
Prepare technical reports documenting fault diagnosis, root causes, corrective actions, and repair history.
Coordinate with Technical Support, Warranty, Parts, and Service Advisors to resolve technical issues and ensure timely service delivery.
Monitor workshop workflow and recommend actions to improve productivity and reduce repair turnaround time.
Verify the availability of required spare parts and coordinate with the Parts Department to avoid repair delays.
Support technician development through on-the-job coaching and technical knowledge sharing.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and workshop operational procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in automotive maintenance, diagnostics, or after-sales service.
