This role is about building scalable, fault-tolerant data systems that handle vast amounts of market and alternative data. You’ll design and optimize pipelines for real-time ingestion, storage, and retrieval, ensuring researchers and traders always have clean, accurate, and timely datasets.

What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines
- Develop systems to ingest, normalize, and enrich market and alternative datasets
- Optimize data storage for high-performance querying and retrieval
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and lineage across the entire pipeline
- Collaborate with researchers and technologists to deliver data-driven infrastructure
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for mission-critical data flows
- Explore cloud and distributed systems for scalability and performance
- Continuously refine pipelines to handle ever-growing data volume and complexity
Who You Are
- 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or backend systems
- Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala for data processing
- Strong knowledge of SQL and distributed databases
- Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, etc.)
- Solid grasp of ETL pipelines, data modeling, and API integration
- Passion for building robust systems in a high-performance environment
- A problem-solver who thrives on efficiency, scalability, and reliability
