Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

As an Engineer/Senior Engineer on the Manufacturing Central Team (MCT) Manufacturing Standardization at Micron, you will help drive network alignment and adoption of Best-Known Methods across Micron’s Global Assembly & Test operations. You will drive standardization efforts by improving manufacturing processes and extending BKM fanout across the Global AT network. You will manage or support cross-functional programs that translate site practices and technical requirements into regulated global specifications and harmonized business processes.

You will work with domain experts across multi-functional teams, including process/equipment engineering, manufacturing, Quality, Automation, and other Central Teams to improve overall alignment, document global specs, business process governance, and manage changes across component assembly, HBM/PWF, Module/SSD, and related manufacturing flows.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support cross-site standardization projects that align manufacturing methods, specifications, and controls across the Assembly & Test network.
  • Facilitate technical reviews to identify site differences, assess risk, and define a common network method based on engineering evidence and Best-Known Methods.
  • Drive standardization across process documentation such as global specifications, work instructions, OCAPs, SOPs, conversion procedures, engineering setup guidelines, and supporting checklists.
  • Support standardization activities involving direct and indirect materials, tooling, carriers, props, recipes, equipment, and other production enablers.
  • Act as a business-process owner or key contributor for standardization requests, approval routing, and change-control workflows using JIRA, ECN, and applicable document-management systems.
  • Participate in change-management, NPI, and phase-gate reviews to ensure network requirements and site adoption needs are aligned and addressed early.
  • Monitor deployment readiness, open actions, risks, and adoption gaps; call out issues with clear recommendations and closure plans.
  • Prepare concise management updates that communicate overall status, key issues, decisions required, open actions, and next steps.
  • Identify practical opportunities to automate tracking, reporting, document reviews, or repetitive analysis using approved digital and AI-enabled tools.
  • Develop or improve dashboards, reports, and structured indicators that provide awareness of standardization, deployment, and adoption across sites.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a comparable technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, Assembly & Test operations, Process and Equipment engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Strong understanding of Assembly & Test manufacturing processes and systems, including Assembly, Test/Post-E, Module/SSD, HBM/PWF.
  • Experience leading multi-functional and multi-site improvement programs in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaborator management, and influencing skills.
  • Highly adaptable and able to work effectively in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned projects and deliverables.
  • Able to prioritize effectively, assess risks, tackle complex problems, and adjust plans as business needs evolve.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities for standardization, automation, process simplification, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel.
  • Experience in employing AI tools for data analysis, process automation, and the development of data-driven solutions is an added advantage.
