We are seeking an experienced SDE 3 / senior software engineer with strong expertise in Java, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance systems and mentor junior engineers while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver robust backend solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- Architect and implement cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to system architecture decisions.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness.
- Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and frontend teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering excellence.
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automation.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8/11/17+).
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Proven experience in microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway).
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL, like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB).
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. ).
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
